How to apply

We are really pleased you want to study with us! Below is a step by step guide to applying for the different types of course. We are always on hand to help you through the process if you have any questions.

full-time courses (Further Education)

Step 1 - Apply

Find the course using our course finder and click on the 'Apply now' button.  You can apply to more than one course to keep your options open.

We will then review your application and will let you know whether we can offer you a place, or if we need further information or to invite you to an informal interview.

Step 2 - Interview (only for some courses)

After applying, you may in some cases be invited to come to an informal interview. This is to assess your suitability and for you to be able to ask any questions that you have.

After your interview, we'll let you know whether you have been successful in gaining a place.

Step 3 - Enrolment

Before the start of your course, we'll tell you how to enrol. Once you have enrolled, you are fully registered and ready to start college.

Exam results

If you are offered a place based on your predicted grades, and these are not what you expected, please contact us on 0300 456 0049. It may be possible for you to join your chosen course, or there may be another course more suitable for you.

Higher Education courses

(Full and part-time)

Visit our HE section for information about applying for a higher education course.

Part-time and short courses

Step 1 - Enquire

Find the course using our course finder and click on the 'Enquire now' button.

This will register your interest – it does not secure you a place on the course.

Step 2 - Is it the right course for you?

The departmental staff will be in touch to confirm availability of places, and answer questions about the course content, ability level and help you decide whether it is right for you.

Step 3 - Enrol and pay fees

Part-time courses enrol throughout the year. Before starting the course, you need to pay any fees and complete an enrolment form. Once this is complete your place is secured.
