Warwickshire College Group celebrates and values diversity.

We will seek to ensure that individuals and communities have equal access to learning programmes and facilities.

We will treat all students with respect and dignity and seek to provide a positive learning environment free from discrimination, harassment or victimisation.

We are committed to providing high quality education in a welcoming and supportive environment enabling everyone, regardless of age, race, religion or belief, gender reassignment, sex and sexual orientation, learning difficulty or disability, pregnancy or maternity to have the opportunity to succeed.

The college group will make reasonable adjustments but it is expected that students will be able to:

  • operate safely, follow instructions and act independently to ensure their own and others safety
  • behave in a manner that is conducive to learning
  • demonstrate the commitment, motivation and ability to benefit and achieve from the programme of study
  • effectively engage in all essential aspects of the programme.

The college group's Residential Services were inspected in March 2012, under the Social Care Inspection Framework and was graded as Outstanding.

‘The promotion of equality and diversity is outstanding. The College has a range of Policies that relate to equal opportunity and understanding diversity. The College’s ethos is carried out in practice and all students are treated as individuals with equal concern and consideration. The College welcomes referrals from any cultural, ethnic, racial or religious background and offers each student a tolerant and respectful environment.’ (Ofsted Report March 2012)
