Tehya-Leonie Kirby, 18, recently joined the Property department in the Leamington office and Natalie McQuiggan, 19, joined the Family department costings team in the Coventry office – both as apprentice business administrators.

Tehya and Natalie are both doing the Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration and Tehya is also studying her Legal Level 2 (CILEX) through WCG Apprenticeships.

Catherine Wahlberg, Operations & Finance Member at Alsters Kelley LLP says, “We think the apprentice scheme is a great way for businesses like ours to help develop young people within the company environment. Both Tehya and Natalie have fitted in really well and are making real positive contributions to their teams and we hope the experience that they both will gain will stand them in good stead for the future.

"We are also hoping to recruit an apprentice to our ICT department in the very near future.”

Jane Murphy, Business Development Manager from WCG says, “Apprenticeships offer any business, either large or small, a cost effective solution to harness fresh new talent. Apprentices can help increase productivity, improve competitiveness and ensure that you have committed and competent workforce to future proof the business.”

WCG Apprenticeships offers a wide variety of apprenticeships in a range of industries and offers support to businesses who want to recruit apprentices.  For more information, click here or call 0300 456 0046.
