Dog grooming for Christmas
The Moreton Morrell centre is offering dog owners
the chance to have their canine friends groomed and looking
ship-shape in time for Christmas.
The college runs courses in dog grooming and offers a
professional dog grooming service to the public. It now has a new
tutor and senior stylist – Vicky Partridge - who is keen to promote
the benefits of professional dog grooming.
Vicky has 20 years experience in the dog grooming industry,
including running her own dog grooming salon, teaching grooming and
entering competitions at a senior level.

Vicky and the students with some furry
friends
Members of the public can bring their furry friends into the
grooming salon at Moreton Morrell on a Monday or Friday to have a
treatment with Vicky. Alternatively, dogs can be brought in from
Tuesday to Thursday for treatments with dog grooming students who
are still in training.
Services with students are offered at a reduced rate, but the
customer will still receive the same high level of service.
Dogs should be professionally groomed to ensure their coats are
cut in keeping with the breed standards for pedigrees, as well as
ensuring the correct shampooing products are used on their skin and
coat types. The groomers at the college will also offer a
complimentary ear and nail checking and plucking service as part of
the grooming package.
Vicky comments: “We offer a professional approach to learning
and grooming to ensure we meet every customer’s additional needs.
Our range of prices and levels of stylist give customers lots of
choice, whilst always receiving the highest standards for their
dogs.”
