A top choice for care training
Warwickshire College has recently been awarded
accreditation from the National Skills Academy for Social Care, as
a provider of quality training in the adult care
sector.
The college delivers training at its Leamington,
Henley-in-Arden and Rugby centres and is the only training provider
in Coventry and Warwickshire to have received this endorsement to
date.
The college received the accreditation following a rigorous
review which assessed its training practices and success rates
against criteria set by sector skills councils, employers and
service users.
Programme Area Manager for Health and Social Care, Pat Cotgrave,
said: “We are delighted to have received this endorsement.
"Our highly experienced staff come from a professional social
care background and have been delivering training for many
years.
"The college prides itself on the quality of its training and
assessment and this, combined with the experience of our tutors,
gives learners the very best chance of success.”
The college provides vocational training in Health and Social
Care for those working in the care sector. It also offers
full-time courses for young people and foundation degrees for care
workers wanting to progress professionally.
