Rugby
The £33-million Rugby centre opened in 2010
with specialist facilities for engineering,
construction, hair and beauty and catering.
There is excellent sport provision and purpose built workshops
and performance spaces for art, craft, design and dance. Find out about our
facilities.
Directions to the Rugby Centre
There are two entrances to the new centre - from Leicester Road
or Mill Road.

The new centre is built on a new development - so your
satellite navigation system may not recognise the postcode – try
the postcode CV21 1RW - this takes you to the
Junction Retail Park on Leicester Road (A426).
As you approach the retail park, you will see Laura Ashley ahead
and McDonald's on your left. Do
not turn left - go straight over the roundabout on
to the new road - Technology Drive. You will see the new centre
ahead. See the map (right).
The Rugby centre is a short walk from Rugby train station, which
is well-connected to major towns and cities, including regular
50-minute services from London Euston. Find detailed
public transport information for students.

We also have a small separate unit located on Wood Street, Rugby
- the Rugby Opportunities Centre - offering
courses in construction and motor vehicle.
Power industry academy
The new Rugby centre houses the Power Industry Academy, a £6.2m
development funded by Advantage West Midlands. This unique facility
will help Rugby to meet the needs of the power generation
manufacturing industry.
The facility will train students to work in the exciting and
expanding fields of alternative energy generation and supply.
