Documents you need to provide
You will need the following documents to apply for a
Schengen Visa, plus one copy. The visa section does not make
photocopies.
- A passport valid for at least three months beyond your last
day.
- One short stay application form clearly filled in.
- A colour photograph taken on a white background.
- A copy of medical insurance documents valid for your stay.
- Proof of Student Status letter.
Depending on the purpose of the trip, one of the documents
listed below:
For tourism
- Hotel reservation
- Proof of registration with an organised tour
- Attestation of accommodation (+ 1 copy) for the duration of
your stay within the Schengen space.
For private visit (family or friends)
- Attestation of accommodation + 1 copy.
Proof of funds to cover the cost of your stay
- 2 last bank statements + 1 copy
- Processing fees
- Re-entering the UK after your trip.
International students taking trips abroad should check that
their student visa permits them to re-enter the UK after their
travels.
