Visa information
It is important that you find out about UK immigration
procedures and how they will affect you. You should do this before
you arrive in the UK.
Student Visas
If you come from outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) you
must meet the following conditions before you come to the UK as a
student:
You must have been offered a place at Warwickshire
College.
You must be able to prove that you have the money to support
yourself and pay your tuition fees for the time your studies will
take without using public funds or work. If you are coming
with your spouse or dependents you must have enough funds to
support them too. (UK Government recommend £600 per month).
You must be entering the UK to complete a full time course
(unless you are the dependent of a full-time student).
You must confirm that you will leave the UK when your studies
have finished.
It must not be your intention to work in the UK except for
temporary part-time and vacation work. (Less than 10 hours per week
during term time).
The procedure for applying for visas has changed - you
can get the latest information from the UKCISA website and
the UKBA
website.
