Best practice methods spread overseas
Warwickshire College's training practices are taking
hold far across the globe.
A group of Japanese delegates - representing education
providers, agricultural organisations and agriculture businesses –
recently visited Warwickshire College’s Moreton Morrell
centre.

The group were studying best practice models for developing and
delivering top-quality training programmes for the agricultural
industry.
The group toured the facilities at the Moreton Morrell centre -
including the farm, forge, animal welfare and equine units - and
met with specialist staff from horticulture, farriery and employer
services.
Group co-ordinator, Yoshi Oyama, said: “Our visit looked at the
ways in which partnerships with land-based businesses have changed
the college’s approach to training.
"The visit was an invaluable opportunity to see how partnerships
result in better courses and qualifications.”
