offer travel and tourism courses at our Leamington and Rugby
Centres.

Student success
Students from our Resort Representatives course are
celebrating after securing jobs with travel company, Thomas
Cook.
Stacey Miles, 18, from Rugby and Camesha Cooke, 19, from
Leamington Spa, will both be working as overseas representatives
for the company and will begin training for their new roles later
this year.
Course leader, Delphine Jones said: “I am thrilled for these
students, they have worked so hard and thoroughly deserve this
opportunity. Our tourism courses help people to build the skills
they will need to work in the travel industry, either in the UK or
abroad. As Stacey and Camesha have shown, it can give students a
great head start when they come to apply for careers in the
industry.”
Trips abroad

tourism students had a taste of life in another
culture recently, as they visited the popular Moroccan tourist
destination of Marrakesh.
Staff
Our travel and tourism staff are very experienced, and the
majority have worked for tour operators, travel agents and airlines
– this helps to provide students with a real understanding and
appreciation of the industry.
College travel agency
The college’s travel agency is based at our Leamington Centre
and offers the same facilities as a high street travel agency. It
is linked to the Global Travel Company and provides real work
experience for students on our specialist travel courses.
Warwickshire College runs courses in travel and tourism at its
centres in Leamington Spa and Rugby, with additional options in
Resort Representatives and Air Cabin Crew service at the Leamington
