Teaching facilities
Horticulture courses are offered at our Pershore College
centre and our Moreton Morrell centre.
For 50 years the college has had a reputation for preparing
students for all areas of the horticulture industry - including
commercial crop production, amenity horticulture and garden
design.
Teaching facilities include:
- 15 hectares of landscaped ornamental grounds and an
arboretum
- 12 hecatres of commercial orchards
- a 12 hectare nature reserve
- landscape workshops - hard landscaping, estate skills, CAD
drawing studio
- 8.3 hectare commercial plant nursery - field, container
and production units
- modern controlled glasshouses
- 0.5ha organic plot with propagation facilities, polyethene
tunnels and outdoor cropping areas
- horticultural machinery and equipment
- retail Plant Centre open seven days a week.
