Floristry, Arboriculture, Landscaping
Our Floristry, Arboriculture and Landscaping courses are
very popular. Here's why...
Floristry courses are run from our Pershore and Moreton Morrell
Centres. Courses are suitable for anyone interested in achieving a
formal qualification, as well as practical training.
Around 30,000 people are employed in Britain’s floristry industry,
mainly as independent retailers. Our ex-students have gone on to
set up successful businesses. The floristry business involves the
production of displays for special occasions weddings, funerals and
the decoration of hotels, restaurants and exhibition halls.
Our floristry tutors are qualified up to the highest standard;
level 5 in floristry, some of who have represented Great Britain in
the WAFAS finals.

Arboriculture has grown in popularity over the past few years and
is now offered at both our Moreton Morrell and Pershore College
centres.
Many students who enrol on one of these courses go on to set up
their own businesses, based on the training that they have
received. The college's lecturing and instructing staff have a lot
of industry experience, enabling them to train students to meet the
needs of the industry.
A range of short courses, full time courses, higher
education and apprenticeships are offered, so students can
choose the learning pattern that suits them.
The FdSc and BSc courses have just been accredited by the Institute
of Chartered Foresters (ICF), meaning students who have completed
the course can apply for Associate status from the Institute. It
also proves that the courses meet the strict standards laid out by
the ICF. Read more about it
