'Beverage Botanics' won Gold at the Chelsea Flower Show
2011
The garden, 'Beverage Botanics' , was designed by
college horticulture lecturer Steve Boxall, to fit the RHS theme
‘The Power of Plants’, illustrating the diverse and powerful role
of plants in our lives. Steve said: "We are delighted to have
won gold for the second year running. Staff and students have all
worked incredibly hard on this garden - and their hard work has all
paid off."
Students have also been successful in setting up their own
businesses after leaving college, and going on to win individual
awards at shows.
The new design for the
Malvern Spring Show 2012 has now been selected and the students
are currently working hard to get everything done in time for the
show in May. Read more about the design
