Facilities
Food and drink facilities at Warwickshire College are
excellent. Across three centres – Rugby, Leamington and Pershore,
we have a wide range of professional equipment.
Pershore manufacturing facilities
The Pershore centre is a leading provider of professional
development courses to the cider industry.
It includes a fully-equipped production facility for the
manufacture of apple juice, cider and perry.
The
centre produces more than 40,000 bottles of cider, apple juice and
perry each year, which are then marketed to wholesale independent
retailers.
Rugby catering facilities
Catering students, based at the Rugby centre on courses run in
partnership with Stratford-upon-Avon College, work and serve in our
60-seater restaurant, Platform One.
The restaurant includes a fully-stocked
licensed bar with a fresh bean to cup coffee machine and is open to
the public five days and two evenings each week.
Students also benefit from the use of a fully equipped IT suite
and three state of the art kitchens, fully equipped with up to date
technology and equipment.

Leamington teaching facilities
Students taking the short courses at our
Leamington centre will each use their own cooking station, equipped
with an oven, grill and four hob rings, as well as the required
pots, pans and utensils.
Equipment such as microwaves, blenders and pasta-makers are also
provided, and special needs and disabilities can be
accomodated.
Cooking stations surround a tutor demonstration area, where
students can watch a range of preparation techniques, before trying
them for themselves.
