Construction apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are an excellent way of getting
qualifications and work experience.
As an apprentice you will earn whilst you learn, acquire
lifelong practical skills and gain a nationally recognised
qualification.
Throughout your apprenticeship you will be visited by trade
qualified and experienced industrial training managers, who will
support your learning at college and in the workplace.
Warwickshire College provides apprenticeships in the following
construction areas:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Carpentry and joinery
- Brickwork
Entry Qualifications
Electrical
Applicants should have GCSE grades A-C in maths, English and
science.
Plumbing
Applicants should have GCSE grades A-C in maths and English.
Carpentry and joinery
Applicants should have GCSE grades A-D in maths and English.
Brickwork
Applicants should have GCSE grades A-D in maths and English.
All applicants for construction apprenticeships must:
- Pass a construction skills aptitude test
- Be in full-time employment with a suitable employer
- Have completed Diploma Level 1 if taking the carpentry and
joinery or brickwork options
