Brickwork
Warwickshire College brickwork students have been
successful in both regional and national Skillbuild competitions,
coming away with top awards.
Brickwork courses are run at our Rugby and Moreton Morrell
centres. Both sites offer new, modern and well equipped workshops
where a wide range of brickwork skills are taught.
In the workshops, students construct models including walls,
pillars, chimneys and arches, all of which are necessary for
someone who wants to become a qualified bricklayer.
Equipped with projectors, computers and white boards, tutors
deliver high quality theory lessons up to Diploma Level 3 to
complement the practical learning.
Our brickwork tutors are all qualified teachers from a site
background, with many years experience using both traditional and
modern construction methods.
Warwickshire College students are consistently recognised in the
Guild of Bricklayers West Midlands Regional awards, scooping winner
and runner up places in the 2010 competition.
