Meet the staff
Warwickshire College's animal care and veterinary
nursing staff bring a wide variety of professional experience to
the department.

Vicky Johnson
Vicky was a student at Warwickshire College studying animal
care. She progressed to higher education before working at Guide
Dogs for the Blind and the Dogs Trust. She then joined Moreton
Morrell as a lecturer.

Anna Walker
After qualifying as a veterinary nurse 15 years ago, Anna
has worked in a variety of practices including the RSPCA and Royal
Veterinary College hospitals, becoming involved in veterinary nurse
training. She is currently course manager for HND Animal Welfare
and Management.

Victoria Bowes
An ex-Warwickshire College student, Victoria completed her
animal care course and continued with training in veterinary
nursing, working at a number of vet practices. She returned to
teach at Moreton Morrell and is now course manager for veterinary
nursing, an examiner and in charge of quality control.

Suzanne Wildman
Suzanne has been working as a lecturer and course manager
for veterinary nursing at Pershore College for the last nine years.
Before that she worked at several veterinary practices as a
veterinary nurse and clinical manager.

Kathy Gowenlock
Kathy began her career in Orthopaedics and Accident and
Emergency Nursing. In her free time, she showed, worked, trained,
groomed, boarded and cared for dogs. She then purchased an animal
feeds and accessories business. Kathy has been working as the
college’s Industrial Training Officer for three years.

Brian Morgan
Brian has worked at Moreton Morrell for nearly 30 years.
Originally a lecturer in dairy management to agriculture students,
Brian later joined the animal welfare team. He now teaches on a
variety of subjects such as farm livestock, health and safety, dog
training, animal management, health, behaviour, welfare and
developing the farm livestock areas.
