Forensic Science
This course contains a tailor-made mix of academic study and
vocational opportunities.
The BTEC Extended Diploma in
Forensic Science is equivalent to three A Levels and is an
accepted qualification for entry to university on a wide range of
science or criminology-related degrees or Higher National
Diplomas.
Students will learn about the principles and practicalities of
working in a scientific setting and the practical applications of
biology, physics, chemistry, maths, law and psychology.
They will study five core units and select further modules from
thirteen specialist units including Criminal Investigation
Procedures, Traffic Investigation, Introduction to Criminal
Psychology and Using Science in the Workplace.

including 'The Bungalow', a purpose built flat in the grounds of
the college, with a difference...
