Facilities
A Levels are taught at our Leamington and Rugby
centres.
A level students at Leamington and Rugby achieve excellent
results and benefit from up to date teaching facilities.
A Level pass rates
In 2010, 90 students from the college’s Leamington
centre received their A Level results, 75 percent of which
were graded A*- C. The overall pass rate was 98 percent,
above the national average.
Warwickshire College is in the top 15% of A Level providers in
the country, according to the Alps system which measures student
attainment based on ability and the quality of teaching and
learning.
Many of our students progress to university or stay onat
Warwickshire College to study on degree courses.
Studying A Levels at Leamington
The wide range of A Level subjects are offered at the Leamington
centre.
As a student, you can benefit from facilities which include:

- a purpose-built £5.8 million art block
- an upgraded library

- hair and beauty salon
- travel centre
The library
has been upgraded and refurbished and has many computer stations
for students to use for their studies and research.

Services area at Leamington is open all year
round to provide advice and support for anyone interested in
studying at the college as well as providing support for current
students.
Studying A Levels at Rugby
Students at our Rugby centre are taught in our new £33 million
facility which opened in 2010.
Facilities include:
- 350 square metre library
- performance and dance facilities
- purpose-built art, design and craft workshops
- full-sized astroturf pitch for hockey and football
- multi-purpose sports hall
- fully-equipped gym
- coffee shop and refectory
- restaurant and bar
- hairdressing and beauty salons

Trips and visits
Students
In March the college’s A Level accounting students took
part in A Business Game at Coventry University, analysing
a business scenario and producing recommendations for a set of
options.
