A Business Game
Studying A levels at Warwickshire College can provide
opportunities to find out about a range of career options and
get taste of what they might really be like.

In March 2011 the college’s A Level accounting students took
part in a Business Game at Coventry University.
Organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the game
involved analysing a business scenario and producing
recommendations for a set of options.
A level Accounting tutor Helen Armstrong said: “The students
took part with enthusiasm and confidence. I watched their
presentations to the panel of judges and these were done very
well.
“I'm sure the students will benefit greatly from the experience
and it may have helped them to consider future career options.”
Accounting student Chris Holt said: “I found that the trip
provided a very realistic insight into a career in accountancy.
“It was challenging but also very enjoyable to find out what may
be expected of you within the business environment.”
