Plant centre
Open to the public, we sell a wide
selection of plants, as well as offering gardening advice and a
pick your own facility.
We specialise in trees, shrubs and fruit and provide a large
choice of varieties and rootstocks, bare root in autumn and
containerised in the spring.
Throughout the year we also stock a good selection of:
- bedding
- fruit
- herbs
- shrubs
- herbaceous plants
- alpines
- fresh flowers
- houseplants
Shop
The Plant Centre shop caters for all your gardening needs, with
a range of ceramic pots. We also sell Pershore College award winning
juice and cider, made in our juicing unit.
Pershore College Gardens
Make an afternoon of it and take a wander round our gardens,
designed by students at Pershore College over several years.
We hold the national collection of Penstemon, Philadelphus and
Forsythia, which can be seen in the college grounds. There is also
a tropical house containing 400–500 different types of plants.

Group visits
We welcome pre-booked group visits to the centre and the
gardens. Tell us what you would like to do and see and we will
tailor something around your individual needs.
This could be an in-depth tour of a chosen specialist area, a
nursery visit, or a combination of garden, juice unit and tropical
house tour. We will adapt to your requirements. We can also provide
light refreshments on request.
Mobile Plant Centre
We can come to you. We can bring a stall for any shows or talks
you are holding, giving people the chance to buy related
products.
Pick Your Own Unit
We now have a ‘pick your own’ area open in June and July.
Developed by the students, we offer:
- strawberries
- raspberries
- tomatoes
- french and broad beans
- peas
- red and blackcurrants
- chillies
- peppers
- cucumbers
